Moontower films!

The Moontower Comedy and Odditty festival is upon us! The comics begin tonight and the films start tomorrow afternoon at the Stateside Theatre. Hope to see you at some of the films!

JOAN RIVERS: A PIECE OF WORK – Thursday April 26th @ 2pm
(84 min, directed by Ricki Stern and Anne Sundberg)
A documentary on the life and career of Joan Rivers, made as the comedienne turns 75 years old.

AMERICAN: THE BILL HICKS STORY – Friday April 27th @ 3pm
(102 min, directed by Matt Harlock and Paul Thomas)
A captivating animated documentary drama on the legendary Texas outlaw comic Bill Hicks, whose profound observations on American life changed the face of comedy forever.

FREAK DANCE – Saturday April 28th @ 1pm
(90 min, directed by Matt Besser)
A spoiled rich girl who wants to be a dancer finds herself caught into between two rival dance groups set to do battle at an underground competition.

COMEDY SHORTS – Saturday April 28th @ 3:30pm (70 min)
