My favorite horror film, THE SHINING, plays the next two days at the theatre. Which gives me an excuse to post this classic re-cut trailer, which points out how powerful editing and music are in establishing a film’s tone. And also rightly points to “Solsbury Hill” as an overused movie song (if still an empirically awesome track).
